OUR VACATION FOR Summer 2009

On 8/19/09 something happened! It was my birthday and we (mom, dad, bro, cousin, grandma, aunt, and ME) took an airplane to Texas and then took another airplane to Las Angels. When we got there we took a shuttle to Enterprise (a rent a car station) we took a gold colored van and we drove to Las Vegas. At 10:00 PM at Las Vegas we drove to a hotel that features "The Big O Show". After that we went to bed.

On Day 2 of 5, we went to Grand Canyon National Park and hiked for a little more than one mile. After that we went back to a different hotel and watched the "Show in the Sky". Then we traveled back to our hotel and went back to bed.

Day 3: We tooka shuttle to DISNEYLAND. We rode the following rides : Splash Mountain (a 50 foot plunge into water), Big Thunder Mountain (rollercoaster), Space Mountain (rollercoaster), Car Driving, Another Roller coaster whose name I forgot, and we also watched fireworks at night and went into the Enchanted Tiki Room, and we went to lots of other rollercoasters I forgot. We also bought lots of popsicles.

Day 4: We took our card and drove to Death Valley National Park but ... we saw a car accident on the way to the National Park. After about a half an hour the road cleared and we got to the National Park. We look at a museam and we took a tiny hike. After that we continued to drive to Los Angels. We then found our hotel and took a nap.

On the 5th and final day of our vacation we drove to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. All of the rides we took: Jurassic Park (like Splash Mountian), Revenge of the Mummy (a rollercoaster), and The Simpsons Ride. We also Backdraft (a fire show), and the Black Lagoon Musical. Also we went to a haunted house and watched a miny card trick show in the Citywalk next to Universal Studios. We also bought some popsicels. After the park closed, we went to the airport to go back home.

I HAD A SLEEPOVER WITH MY BEST FRIEND

YESTERDAY ON JULY 31st 2009, MY MOM DROVE ME TO MY FRIENDS HOUSE TO PLAY AT THEIR HOUSE AT ABOUT 10:00 AM BECAUSE WE FINISHED OUR HOMEWORK. WHEN WE REACHED THERE WE DID THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

1. PLAY YUGIOH.
2. MAKE VIDEOS.
3. PLAY OUTSIDE.
4. CLIMB TREES.
5. WATCH TV.
6. EAT FRUITY PEBBLES.
7. DESTROED A BOOK.
8. PLAYED TEDDYBEAR DODGEBALL.
9. PLAYED ON THE COMPUTER.
10. PLAYED ON THE WII.

ALSO IAN CAME OVER TO PLAY AT ABOUT 4:00. I WANTED HIM TO COME TO MY HOUSE FOR A SLEEPOVER BECAUSE MICHAEL AND DAVID ( MY BEST FIENDS ) WERE FRIENDS WITH HIM TOO. BUT I FAILED. AT OUR HOUSE WE:

1. PLAYED ON THE COMPUTER.
2. PLAYED ON THE WII.
3. AND PLAYED YUGIOH.

THEN WE WENT TO BED ON THE FLOOR!!!!!

AND THEN TODAY WE WOKE UP AND PLAYED YGO AND ON THE COMPUTER. THEN MICHAEL'S DAD CAME TO PPICK HIM UP. AND NOW I'M WRITING THIS.

ROLLER COASTERS ARE BEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPIN FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On THURSDAY I went to SIX FLAGS! Bet you want to go there to. MY BROTHER, MY FATHER, AND MY COUSIN went with me. First we went to the Dark Night roller coaster. Scary but not enough thrills. Next we hit NITRO! IT WAS FREAKIN" AWERSOME. Down a huge drop then back up. I HELD ON TO MY SAFTEY BAR THE ENTIRE TIME. NEXT we went to skull mountain. NOT FUN. Then we went to the LOG FLUME but then it rained so it closed.
To beat some time we ate lunch! THEN we went on ROLLING THUNDER which was a bit lame.
THEN WE WENT ON ... EL TORO!!!!!!!! It is very awesome. BELIEVE ME. THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY. THEN IT RAINED AGAIN! WE COULDN"T RIDE ANY more rides! SO WE WENT HOME AND PLAYED ON THE COMPUTER. THE END!

MY MOMMY TOLD ME TO WRITE MY JOURNAL ON MY BLOG WHICH I'M GONNA DO RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!

Today I had a normal day like any other day for the Summer.

• Wake up.
• Breakfast.
• Homework until lunch.
• Lunch.
• I HEART lunch.

But then today I had a play date after lunch for 1,2,3,4,5 hours. COUNT 'EM. MY FRIENDname is called MICHAEL. ALL we did was that THE GROUP ( ME, MICHAEL, HIS BROTHER DAVID, MY BROTHER DANIEL, MY COUSIN FROM BEIJING MINDY.) played HIDE AND SEEK, PACMAN, TEDDY BEAR DODGEBALL, AND YUGIOH. ALSO WE PLAYED SOME WII.

THERE IS NOTHING ELSE to read.

Fine!

After all that happened ME AND MY BRO AND MY CUSION went back to home and then we ate dinner with my parents. And i'm writing this.

3rd Grade Report! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

My Brother's Typical Day

After having an ineterview with my 3rd grade brother, I have found out about his opinion at school and what he does after school.

Most moms think that their children love reading and writing but strangely: " I unpack and I do boring math and reading work." He also said in a bored tone of voice " I do a morning meeting with my class and then I go do writing." Also Daniel comments on reading too " I'm being forced to read and I like it." , and also, " I'm reading Maniac Magee and I think it's boring because i've already read it." This suggests that educators and teachers around the world should force their students to read and not make them reread books.

Some people like math, some people hate it, and some people think it's just boring. Daniel says " I really, really, really don't know! I don't know if I like it or not." This infers that he probably thinks math is boring.

Everybody knows that kids love recesss and free time at school, and this confirms it: " It's free time! ..." and " I play foursquare every recess." We should raise recess time and 8th period.

Also Daniel talks about his himework and his life at home. " Well, I do my homework first ..." and " ... I run a mile ..." This probably means that parents around the world should make their kids do their homework first instead of playing and also they should make their children excersize.

Well, according to the facts from my interview with Daniel, what we should change to the 3rd grade is this:

1. Make students read.
2. Not make them reread books.
3. Increase free time and recess.
4. Make math interesting.
5. Tell parents to make their children do homework first.
6. Make their children excersize.

We should all vote on making these changes to the 3rd grade and possibly every grade!
