Book Review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Hello, I’m 0123456789 from Plainsboro. I’m here to tell you about Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling. The main problem of the book is that the there is a tournament that Harry Potter did not enter in because he was the one who defeated Lord Voldemort, so one of his followers might have entered him in the tournament. When does this happen you ask me? Well, the book happened around the modern times, but it actually never tells me! Well I can tell you that this is Harry Potter‘s forth year. The story mostly happens in the wizarding world (and/or witch world) and some of the book happens at the muggle world (non-magic folk). But at the first chapter of this book, an old man was met by Lord Voldemort personally with one of his servants. This story makes me feels excited because of the rising action end of every chapter.
First in this story, Harry finished dreaming. He then gets a really weird letter with lots of stamps. The letter tells him to go to a Qudditch tournament. At the world cup, the Dark Mark shows up (witch means that someone dies). But what really happens is that these people are in the air. After the world cup, he goes back to The Burrow (a friend’s home. He is called Ronald Weasly.). He gets a little information about what happens. The all aboard the Hogwarts Express (your probably wondering what the heck the Hogwarts is? Well it is a school for wizards AND witches)! When the people on the Hogwarts train get to Hogwarts they get the beginning feast and they do the sorting and then the people of Hogwarts hear the sorting hat’s song and they finally hear the Triwizard tournament that it will be taking place at Hogwarts. They know that the winners be qualified at Halloween. Then the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher comes in with a bang! They finally start school and learns there first Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson. They learn the three Unforgivable Curses. I will not tell you what they do. Anyways, they meet other schools (two to be exact). Then on Halloween the Goblet of Fire shows the chosen competitors (the Goblet of Fire is the thing where you put the slips if you want to enter). For the Hogwarts competitor the goblet chooses Cedric Diggory. For one of the other schools the goblet chooses Viktor Krum. For the second other school the goblet chooses Fleur Delacour. Then (unexpectedly) Harry’s name went out of the Goblet. Now he has to enter to (the tournament). Then the people who are the judges for the tournament make sure the wands work. Then they do the first task. They have to get an egg from a dragon. The egg is what you get that prepares you for the second task. But before the second task, they go to the kitchen. Before the third task they have to go to the Yule Ball. They dance and in the middle of the Yule Ball, they hear Hagrid talk about something (Hagrid is a friend of Harry). After the Yule Ball, Rita Skeeter, makes a bad, exaggerated article about Hagrid (Rita Skeeter is a special for a wizard and witches newspaper). Then, finally Harry does what the clue for the second task is. He goes into a bathroom and takes a bath. He then opens the egg underwater and it says that you will have to get back something important from merpeople. He finishes that task and moves on to the third. Before the third task Harry, he meets his friend Sirius (pronounced serious) in a cave. He then takes a trip down to the kitchen and then ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************. Sorry couldn’t tell you that. Then he has a dream. He now goes to Albus Dumbledore office (Albus Dumbledore is the headmaster of Hogwarts) and goes into a pensive (a pensive is and bowl shaped thing with memories in it). Later, it is the third task it is were you go into a maze and fight magic creatures and get the tournament cup before everybody else. But Cedric and Harry both get and get transported to a graveyard some one kills Cedric and Voldemort gets turned back alive into human. He duels Harry and Harry survives, takes Cedric’s dead body back to Hogwarts. Then they have the end feast at Hogwarts and then all the students go home. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES THIS, READ THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!
The traits of Harry are that he is surprised that he got into the Trwizard Tournament. Also he was afraid as he on the second task, he couldn’t find a solution to the task and he almost gave up. That is all I can tell you.
Why I like this book because it has lots of suspense and cliffhangers. I recommend this book to anybody. You can relate to your life from this book in some events like have you ever had a felling you would give up? Well bye-bye; this is the end of my book report.
